Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials, supplies, and finished goods within our facility or onto trucks. Your role will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. If you are physically fit, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to have you on board!
Roles and Responsibilities: Manually or using a hand truck, perform various material handling duties within the facility. Load finished products onto pallets or hand trucks. Stack skids or pallets in designated areas. Provide cleaning services as necessary, including sweeping floors, cleaning offices, and disposing of trash in proper containers or designated areas. Perform other related tasks to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
Qualifications & Skills: High School Diploma/GED preferred. Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours. Ability to lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction. Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head. Comfortable walking in a distribution center and around the area with great frequency; our facilities are over a quarter mile in length.
