Community Hospital Corporation (CHC), a DFW Top 100 Employer, is looking for a Supply Chain Data Analyst to collect, organize and disseminate Corporate-wide supply chain data to identify problems and develop recommendations which support Supply Chain operations.This is an exciting onsite role at our beautiful corporate offices located in Plano between Legacy West and Grandscape. The analyst will also have the ability to acquire, assimilate and analyze data from multiple systems and data sources utilizing a variety of business intelligence and reporting tools.Major ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain relationship with key stakeholders by developing a communication process to keep others up to date project resultsInteract with corporate and materials management teams to gather appropriate data, conduct analysis to identify and define problems as a result of data extraction from the facility’s Materials Management information system and analytics platformsDevelop and maintain relationships with staff and customers to serve as a resource when neededAssist with ad hoc analytics reporting projectsDevelop reports on usage market share statistics, purchasing trends, and price comparison impact for new contracts and potential product conversionsWith manager guidance, plan, organize, develop and deliver reports, deliverables and projects on time, adhering to requested specificationsProvide support during GPO and distributor implementation to ensure contracts are properly connectedWork with members and Prime Distributor team to resolving pricing discrepanciesComplete the weekly PCN report, researching and verifying future pricing, and serving as an liaison vendors and prime distributorAnalyze supply spend to identify savings opportunities though vendor standardization, product conversions, and GPO tier optimizationPerforms other tasks and duties as assigned in an efficient, effective and cost conscious manner, complying with all CHC’s policies, procedures and regulationsGeneral DutiesIndirectly creates an environment in which needs of facility Supply Chain Directors can be met so that they develop and exhibit a high level of productivity and commitment to their Facility and can meet the needs of departmental customers, co-workers and others they encounter during their workIndirectly creates an environment in which needs of facility Supply Chain Directors can be met so that they develop and exhibit a high level of productivity and commitment to their Facility and can meet the needs of departmental customers, co-workers and others they encounter during their workMaintains up-to-date awareness of activities, industry trends and government regulations as appropriate for materials management and GPO-related issuesUpholds and supports the company’s mission, vision, goals, and objectivesPerforms related duties as assignedOccasional travel Education and Experience:Requires 0-3 years of experience in a data, business, or financial analystRequires a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Business, Computer Science, Health Care Administration or other related field with equivalent experience or 4-6 years experience in lieu of degreeSkills and KnowledgeKnowledge of healthcare supply chain, financials, healthcare products and services, inventory management systems, distribution/operationsAbility to capture, understand, analyze and interpret data, and make recommendations from the analysisAbility to work with all levels of management and staff and respecting all differencesAbility to work independently and collaborate with team membersPossess proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPointAbility to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and manage deadlines effectivelyAbility to define realistic, specific goals and objectives and to prioritize effectivelyAbility to work under tight constraintsAbility to produce quality results and complete analysis per end-user’s specific needsAbility to deliver end-to-end analytics projects: taking them from vague requirements to impactful story At CHC we enjoy an outstanding work environment, covered parking, comprehensive health and welfare benefits including paid fitness facility membership, tuition reimbursement, a generous PTO allowance, and a great company culture.Comprehensive health and welfare benefits package is offered as part of total compensation: Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Retirement Plan (401k, IRA) Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) Wellness Resources and other benefits CHC is a tobacco and drug free workplace.
