Material Runner - 1st Shift at Award Staffing

About the Opportunity:
• Job Title: Material Runner
• Pay Rate Range: $18.00-$20.00/hr
• Location: Anoka, MN
• Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM with mandatory overtime.
• Position Type: Temp to Hire

Requirements and Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy equipment (50+ lbs).
• Familiarity with restoration equipment preferred (training provided).
• Ability to work in emergency response environments.
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Basic mechanical or equipment-handling knowledge a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Deliver and pick up restoration equipment such as air movers, dehumidifiers, HEPA air scrubbers, extraction tools, and containment materials.
• Transport job materials between warehouse, job sites, and vendors.
• Stage equipment and materials at job sites according to project needs.
• Assist with equipment loading, unloading, and basic setup when needed.
• Track equipment movement and assist with inventory accuracy.
• Communicate with Project Managers and Technicians regarding job needs.
• Ensure equipment is returned, cleaned, and properly stored.
• Identify and report damaged, missing, or malfunctioning equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and company vehicles.
