Materials Management and Transportation ManagerCompany:The Boeing CompanyBoeing South Carolina (BSC) Fulfillment is seeking a Materials Management & Transportation Manager to lead a hands-on team that delivers parts kits tools and equipment to the BSC flightline. You will ensure readiness schedule adherence technical quality and safety across materials operations that directly enable on-time aircraft delivery. The role requires leadership productionsynchronized material delivery experience (kitting milk runs kanban) and a focus on continuous improvement.Position Responsibilities: Manages and integrates employees activities across more than one area in materials management and transportationDevelops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goalsAcquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvementsDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers and employeesProvides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processesManages develops and motivates employeesBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):5 years of experience supporting manufacturing operations3 years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal roleWillingness to work any shift assigned based on business needsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience in or supporting flightline operationsExperience in tool and equipment managementExperience with safety and quality processesShift: This position is variable shift meaning you will be placed on a shift at time of hire based on business needs.
