Materials Management K-Level Manager-1Company:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for Materials Management and Transportation to join our dynamic team in Berkeley MO.Position Responsibilities Manages and integrates employees activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation.Develops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.Acquires resources for projects and processes provide technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes. Manages develops and motivates employees.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.This position is for 1st shift.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):More than 3 years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environmentMore than 3 years of experience leading or managing a teamMore than 3 years of experience in supply chain or materials managementPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelors degree or higherExperience in lean processes and initiativesExperience interfacing with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)Experience with Material Requirements Planning including the use of Compass Contract or a similar MRP systemTypical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master4 years related work experience 10 years related work experience etc.)Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
