Key Responsibilities Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize material flow and minimize carrying costs. Lead the planning and execution of material requirements (MRP) to support production schedules and customer demand. Oversee the efficient operation of warehousing shipping and receiving functions. Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of raw materials. Manage and develop the materials team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory accuracy on-time delivery and material availability. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in material handling storage and logistics processes. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Engineering or a related field. 5 years of progressive experience in materials management procurement or supply chain leadership within a manufacturing environment. Proven proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) for inventory control planning and purchasing. Strong understanding of inventory management principles forecasting techniques and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP). Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team along with strong negotiation abilities.
