Key Responsibilities Manage and optimize inventory levels for raw materials WIP and finished goods. Develop and implement materials planning strategies to support production schedules. Oversee supplier relationships and performance for critical materials. Analyze material forecasts and collaborate with procurement for timely supply. Drive cost reduction initiatives related to material sourcing storage and waste. Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements for all materials. Lead mentor and develop the materials management team. Recommended Qualifications Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in materials management supply chain or procurement within a manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Engineering or a related field. Proven proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) for inventory planning procurement and production scheduling. Strong analytical negotiation and leadership skills with a track record of optimizing inventory levels and supplier performance. In-depth understanding of inventory control principles logistics warehousing and manufacturing processes. APICS CSCP or CPIM certification preferred.
