Key Responsibilities Manage and optimize inventory levels to meet production demands and minimize carrying costs. Oversee the entire procurement process from supplier selection to contract negotiation and order placement. Develop and implement robust material planning strategies using MRP/ERP systems. Lead mentor and develop the materials planning purchasing and warehousing teams. Collaborate with production sales and engineering to ensure accurate forecasting and material availability. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in material flow logistics and supply chain efficiency. Monitor and report on key materials KPIs including inventory turns lead times and cost variances. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Engineering or a related field. 5 years of progressive experience in materials management supply chain or procurement within a manufacturing environment. Proven proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced planning tools. Strong understanding of inventory control principles production planning S&OP processes and lean manufacturing methodologies. Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
