This role oversees all instructional quality student assessments learning plans and instructor training. The Education Manager ensures that every student receives effective individualized instruction aligned with the Mathnasium Method.This position requires strong mathematical competency excellent teaching ability and the leadership skills needed to guide and develop a team of instructors.This is a part-time position (20 hours per week)ResponsibilitiesInstructional LeadershipOversee all aspects of academic quality within the centerEnsure all instruction follows the Mathnasium Method terminology and teaching standardsBe able to support in-person online and hybrid learning environments with consistent instructional excellenceStudent Assessments & Learning PlansAdminister and score student assessmentsDiagnose learning gaps accurately and efficientlyDevelop individualized learning plans for each studentMonitor student progress and adjust plans as neededInstructor Training & DevelopmentTrain coach and mentor instructors in instructional strategies and Mathnasium best practicesConduct ongoing performance check-ins and provide actionable feedbackModel effective teaching practices and maintain a culture of academic excellenceAssist with scheduling to ensure proper student-to-instructor ratiosCollaboration & CommunicationPartner with the Center Manager to discuss student progress instructional needs and staffingCommunicate academic updates when needed to support the centers educational goalsSupport parent meetings when academic expertise is requiredEnvironment & StandardsMaintain a structured focused and positive learning environmentEnsure materials curriculum and teaching tools are organized and up-to-dateSupport the center in maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphereQualificationsBachelors degree completed or in-progress ; preferred fields include mathematics education engineering or related disciplinesStrong math proficiency through at least CalculusPrevious teaching tutoring or academic leadership experience requiredAbility to explain mathematical concepts clearly to students of varying skill levelsExperience training or mentoring others is strongly preferredHighly organized detail-oriented and committed to education qualityStrong communication and leadership skillsWillingness to complete Mathnasium Method training and certification Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing LLC (Mathnasium). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center.
