The ideal candidate is a bright, passionate, and dedicated professional with excellent interpersonal, mathematical, and instructional skills. Following hiring, the new team member is required to complete training in the Mathnasium Method. This is a part-time role with flexible hours.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide exceptional instruction/ tutoring services to studentsParticipate in positive interactions with parents and establish a high level of confidence and program valueBecome proficient with digital educational materials & processesTeach in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices which include individualized instruction in a group settingAssess students progress throughout instructional sessions, and work collaboratively with team members to deliver the best possible experience for studentsEvaluate, grade, and correct student work and homeworkSupport the maintenance of a clean & professional learning environmentAssist with non-teaching/ instructional tasks as neededQualificationsA passion for math and working with studentsExcellent interpersonal skillsExceptional math competency through at least Algebra IAbility to balance various ongoing tasksWillingness to learn and be trainedBenefits/PerksGrowth OpportunitiesGreat CultureFlexible Hours
