We owe our success to our amazing product, commitment to our people and the connections we make in every community.If you are resourceful, collaborative, team-oriented and passionate about delivering consistent excellence, Optimum is the Company for you!We areOptimum!Job SummaryAccount Executive- MDU sells complex telecommunication services to clients and is accountable for meeting or exceeding sales goals.ResponsibilitiesProvides quality internal and external customer service surrounding the Company valuesMeets or exceeds corporate/system sales goalsProspects, cold calls (by phone and in person) and generates new sales opportunitiesDevelops and maintains strategic account plansDevelops relationships with clients and provides solutions to meet their needsDevelops proposals and presentations to deliver to customers and prospectsEnsures client retention and cross-sells and up-sells to existing clientsPartners with sales engineer and sales support teams to determine appropriate solutions for complex customers issuesNegotiates pricing, service level and terms/conditions with clientsEnsures product pricing is consistent with pricing structures set at the corporate level and competitive environmentPerforms ROI assessment for profitability and submits for approvalUpdates essential client information in a timely mannerEnsures customer satisfaction throughout sales cycleMaintains database information and customer recordsPerforms other duties as assignedQualificationsThree years relational sales experienceIn-depth understanding of complex financial business modelsIn-depth understanding of complex legal terminologyAbility to negotiate legal agreementsAbility to build complex business casesComputer skills including Windows-based applicationsStrong negotiation, problem solving and analytical skillsStrong people and relationship management skillsAbility to prioritize and organize effectivelyAbility to analyze accurately with attention to detailAbility to work independently and with othersAbility to comply with all Company safety proceduresMust possess and maintain a valid driver's license in good standing within the state of current residenceBachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferredConsultative selling experience preferredAt Optimum, we're fueled by our four core pillars: Taking Ownership, Upholding Transparency, Creating Community, and Demonstrating Expertise.
