If you're ready to carve out a rewarding career, apply today!Qualifications:Age 18+Fresh meat cutting experience is preferredAbility to stand for long periods of time while in a cooled environmentAbility to lift 50 poundsSpeak, read, write, and understand EnglishResponsibilities:Cutting all varieties and cuts of meat (beef, pork, oxtail), with knives or band sawDetailed work including trimming fat, breaking down large pieces into steaks, loins, chops, etc.Assist with grinding meat, and patty/sausage/formed product productionAssist with clerking (customer service and cashiering) responsibilities during times of high customer traffic or to meet hours requirementsFollowing safety guidelines for food handling, personal hygiene, and operating equipment and toolsOther duties as assignedScheduling:Part Time with potential to be Full time (40+ hours/ week)Tentative schedule:Wednesdays 6:30 am - 2 pm (prep and production)Thursdays 6 am - 3:30 pmFridays & Saturdays start at 7 am and end sometime between 6 pm - 8:30 pmSaturday availability/flexibility requiredNew Castle Farmer's Market operating hours: Thursdays 9 am - 3 pm, Fridays - Saturdays 9 am - 8 pmBenefits:Medical/Vision/Dental insurance (Full-time only)401(k) with employer matchEmployee discountReferral Program eligibilityEmployee Assistance Program eligibilityFree meal/food items during shiftAppreciation and team building eventsCondensed work week and No Sundays!Come experience a fun, family atmosphere that provides great products and service!Stoltzfus Meats Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
