Job Description

ResponsibilitiesMechanical Design Engineer II for Transnorm Systems Richardson TXResponsibilities:Responsible for technical documentation part definition and support drawing component and system analysis;engineering assistance; writing specifications cost estimation and 3D modeling.Generate new CADs and drawings for customer inquiries and new parts.Design and develop new ideas of value engineering and component engineering for the purpose of saving costs.Technical support for customers.Responsible for design and implementation of mechanical parts subassemblies and product improvements.QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE:Qualified applicants must have a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering Aerospace Engineering or a related field and 2 years of manufacturing design experience.Full term of experience must include: CAD modelling; Machining Manufacturing; Lean principle project implementation; design experience; Microsoft Office; technical writing; measurement; testing; scientific principles of problem solving; fundamental physics; and governing principles background.Must have 1 year of experience in sheet metal and textile Manufacturing.Telecommuting permitted up to three (3) times per week.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:Location: Richardson TX40 hours/weekEmployee Referral Fee: $1500If offered employment must have legal right to work in U.S. EOE.
