Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Shop MechanicResponsibilitiesWork from blueprints to disassemble pumps, valves, and machines.Repair or replace broken or misused parts of each piece.Use blueprints and Bill of Materials (BOM) to reassemble each machine.Perform light manual machining on a manual lathe.Operate a forklift to move materials around the shop.Perform pickups and drop-offs of materials.Complete general labor and cleaning duties as assigned.Take ownership of each project from start to finish, including minimal light electrical work.Essential SkillsAt least 6 months of hands-on mechanical work experience.Ability to read and interpret factory set blueprints and drawings.Proficiency with calipers and micrometers.Basic welding skills.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Oakdale, Pennsylvania.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Oakdale, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $52000.00/yr.Full health benefits, 401k, long term stable companyWorkplace TypeThis is a fully onsite position in Oakdale,PA.Application DeadlineThis position is anticipated to close on Dec 20, 2025.About Aerotek:We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
