We are a well-established communications construction company based in Thousand Palms, California, proudly serving the Coachella Valley and surrounding areas for over 41 years. Our service area spans throughout Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, from Thermal to Redlands and north to Twentynine Palms. With a strong reputation and large footprint in the region, we are looking to add a skilled and dependable mechanic to our team.

Position: Experienced Mechanic

We are seeking a highly experienced mechanic who can diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of vehicles and equipment.

Required Experience

• Diesel engine repair and maintenance
• Gas engine repair and maintenance
• Hydraulic systems troubleshooting and repair
• Electrical wiring and diagnostics
• Preventative maintenance and inspections
• Ability to work on a variety of equipment, including:
• • Freightliner trucks
  • Ford F-550 trucks
  • Backhoes
  • Ride-on trenchers
  • Other construction and fleet equipment

Additional Duties

In addition to mechanic responsibilities, the successful candidate will be expected to:

• Operate a forklift safely
• Unload and receive materials
• Organize and maintain yard inventory
• Assist with general yard and shop operations as needed

Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Valid driver's license required (CDL is a plus)
• Experience working in a construction fleet environment preferred
• Dependable, organized, and safety-conscious
