Mechanic at In and Out Auto Repair

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and technical knowledge.
• Perform major repairs including engine and transmission removal, replacement, and overhaul.
• Execute all types of repairs across various vehicle systems, including but not limited to: steering, suspension, brakes, electrical, and A/C.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify current and potential future problems.
• Maintain high levels of productivity and efficiency without compromising on quality.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Communicate clearly with service advisors regarding diagnoses, repair timelines, and additional needed work.

Requirements:

• Proven professional experience as an Automotive Technician, with a strong focus on diagnostics and heavy-line repairs but not limited to.
• Must be proficient and have experience in all major repair areas, including engines, transmissions, drivetrains, steering, suspension, and brakes.
• Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating both speed and high-quality workmanship.
• Proficiency with diagnostic scanners, shop software, hand tools, and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A solid understanding of safety procedures.
• Must have own tools
• Relevant certifications (ASE, etc.) are a major plus.

Pay: Competitive pay based on experience. with option of commision based pay.
