Mechanic Maintenance handle equipment repairs and replacement of defective components. They also install and assemble equipment by analyzing mechanical schematics and blueprints accurately. A mechanic maintenance creates a comprehensive schedule of inspection repairs and quality control checks to preserve the safe standards of the premises.Typical duties include but are not limited to:Performs general maintenance of facilities including carpentry mechanical and plumbing work.Inspects mechanical systems and machinery to ensure proper operation by performing required maintenance adjustments or repairs.Repairs or replaces faulty parts such as gears valves seals and bearings.Uses and installs chain hoists or any other lifting device for rigging equipment and hardware into position.Assembles installs tests and maintains mechanical systems apparatus and appliances using hand tools/power tools.Qualifications:Highschool Diploma/GED is .0-3 years experience in Facility Maintenance or closely related field.Ability to work in and contribute to a team and communicate with other in a courteous and helpful way.Must be to work safely and independently in a fast-paced environmentAbility to perform manual labor for extended periods in a variety of different environments including adverse weather and high placesPhysical Requirements:Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance.
