Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Do you like a short sales cycle and monthly commissions?Are you seriously competitive and look for the best way to take care of your customer and their needs? We are seeking a Business Development Representative to join our Rentals Department.Identify, pursue, grow and close new and existing client base for the RENTAL of mobile generator sets, load banks, and distribution of support equipmentDevelop strong relationships with, electrical and general contractors, home builders, event companies, industrial and commercial end users, rental housesMaintain and improve relationships with existing and potential customers and follow-up on outstanding opportunities in the power generation marketDevelop brand awareness and follow-up with customers throughout the sales processAttend Networking Events as necessary (Golf, Clay Shoots, Fishing Trips, etc..) Work with technical support team to engineer complex offerings to customer.Conduct site walks with technical support teamProvide weekly contact and quote reports, track customer accounts and follow up on documented customer information in CRM software (Field Servio)REQUIREMENTS:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent sales and negotiation skillsBasic Knowledge of diesel and natural gas engine generators is a plus, but not required. Electrical knowledge of the rental industry a plusParticipate in "on-call" rotationOrganized with attention to detailProven ability to build and maintain relationships with clientsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareHigh sense of urgencyEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Documented clean driving record.Minimum 3 years’ experience in outside sales preferred.Emergency power generation industry experience is a plus.High School DiplomaCollege or Vocational Tech a plusPHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a timeMust be able to travel locallyWe Offer: Competitive base pay + UNCAPPED commissionsCompany car with necessary equipment and resources to ensure you have everything you need to excel in your position!
