We're looking for a Mechanical Assembler who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in building high-quality equipment, and wants to be part of a small, supportive team. In this role, you won't be stuck on an assembly lineyou'll own full sub-assemblies from start to finish and see the impact of your work every day.
What You'll Do
- Build sub-assemblies for advanced burn-in test equipment using a variety of power and hand tools
- Read and interpret blueprints to assemble units accurately and efficiently
- Work with tools such as wrenches, ratchets, torque tools, drills, rivet guns, and soldering equipment
- Perform copper piping soldering and brazing
- Stand for most of the day and lift up to 25 lbs regularly (up to 100 lbs with hoist assistance)
- Complete full builds independentlyno repetitive assembly-line work
What You Bring
- 12 years of mechanical assembly experience
- Ability to work with both small precision parts and large industrial components
- Comfortable using wrenches, screwdrivers, pneumatic tools, and other shop equipment
- Experience building assemblies from start to finish
- Blueprint reading experience
- Bonus: Experience with brazing/copper soldering or industrial-sized equipment

Your Work Environment

- Expect a mix of kneeling, climbing, and maneuvering into different positions as part of the build process
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MINNEAPOLIS, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
