Job Summary/Overview The Mechanical Assembler manages our ERP system to track progression of job work orders and inventory transactions. The Mechanical Assembler can also assemble and wire mechanical parts to produce the highest quality products at the lowest possible cost meeting company performance standards and customer specifications and delivery requirements in accordance with company policies and procedures.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manages ERP system to track progression of job work orders and inventory transactionsResponsible for managing inventory levels and accurately entering data into ERP systemReview work orders to plan the most efficient method of production to minimize changeovers and maximize raw materialsComplete and maintain all required paperwork records documents etcComplete quality inspections for co-workers as requiredComplete and verify product checklists for all completed ordersComplete special projects as assignedFollow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulationsMaintain departmental housekeeping standardsAssemble and wire mechanical parts per work orders to produce the highest quality products at the lowest possible cost meeting company performance standards and customer specifications and delivery requirements if neededKnowledge Skills Competencies and Abilities Requires the ability to operate a variety of small hand and power tools crimpers meters and soldering equipmentComputer skills: working in networked environment using a Windows and or Windows like interface using PowerPoint Excel and Word software programsTime Management and Organization skills: flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and assignments; ability to maintain confidentialityRequired Qualifications Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and one to three years of related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience Key Skills Lean Manufacturing,Hand Tools,Calipers,Mechanical Knowledge,Assembly Experience,Blueprint Reading,Micrometer,Precision Measuring Instruments,Schematics,Soldering,Power Tools,Manufacturing Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
