Location: 7280 Union Centre Blvd, West Chester, OH 45014

Work Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday

Dixon Bayco, a proud division of The Dixon Group, is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our team in West Chester, OH! In this position, you'll assemble and test mechanical components used in high-quality industrial products. You'll work closely with experienced technicians and engineers, follow clear technical drawings, and contribute to the production of components.

What You'll Do:

  • Assemble mechanical components according to technical drawings and specifications
  • Ensure all parts fit and operate correctly according to quality standards
  • Inspect finished assemblies and components for accuracy and performance
  • Work with engineers and team members to identify and resolve assembly challenges
  • Document assembly processes and any discrepancies found during inspection
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge about new products
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during assembly
  • Adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

What We're Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior mechanical assembly experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to follow step-by-step instructions and work efficiently
  • Team-oriented mindset with problem solving skills
  • Willingness to rotate between workstations and learn multiple assemblies
  • Enjoys hands-on, detail-focused work

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, stretch, squat, and reach as needed
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments
  • Sufficient manual dexterity to grasp, manipulate, and assemble small parts
