Mechanical Assembler

Raytheon's Consolidated Manufacturing Center (CMC) seeks an experienced Mechanical Assembler to support products in McKinney, TX on the 1st shift. This individual must be self-motivated and will work with a cross functional team including engineering, factory management, program management, and other assemblers/testers.

What You Will Do

• Bonding with resins and adhesives using shop processes for bonding and curing
• Assemble military electronics using torque tools and other manual tools following assembly instructions and drawings

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
• Assembly experience
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer

• Work experience using hand tools
• Bonding and curing experience
• Experience reading memory maps, schematics, & datasheets
• Experience reading drawings
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Clean room experience
