ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assemble mechanical components and systems according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Install, align, and test pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical valve actuator systems.
- Verify quality and functionality of completed assemblies through inspection and testing procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company standards.
- Follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures for consistent assembly quality.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify and resolve assembly or component issues.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in mechanical assembly, preferably within the NOV or oilfield equipment industry.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Hands-on experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Familiarity with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical actuator systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
