Hybrid Commissioning Agent at Planate Management Group

Planate is a small business provider of planning design infrastructure management technical consulting engineering and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army Air Force Navy Marine Corps) missions along with other US federal agencies all over the world.We are seeking a highly experienced Commissioning Agent (CA) to oversee the design review installation testing and validation of all technology systems and components. The Commissioning Agent will work closely with the design and construction teams and government stakeholders to ensure all deployed systems meet design intent industry standards and jurisdictional codes.Key Responsibilities:Provide oversight of design reviews system installations inspections and testing of technology deploymentsVerify and document that systems are planned installed operated and maintained as designedEnsure compliance with Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) codes and standards to pass inspectionsWork alongside the design and construction team under government direction to validate deployment readinessLead commissioning activities ensuring all systems meet operational performance and quality requirementsPrepare documentation and reports to track commissioning activities and results.Qualifications to be successful in the role:Bachelors degree in an applicable disciplineMinimum 10 years of experience leading and performing commissioning (CXa) tasksCertified Commissioning Authority (CXa) certification requiredStrong knowledge of codes standards and best practices in system commissioningProven experience coordinating across multidisciplinary teams to ensure systems meet design and operational requirementsAbility to define project scope develop tasks monitor performance and deliver results on time and within budget.Excellent communication and collaboration skills with contractors engineers and government staffAbility to travel to any Port of Entry within client span of controlWhy PlanatePlanate Management Group is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
