This position will play a critical role in the commissioning and validation of mechanical systems within mission-critical facilities ensuring these environments perform to the highest standards in uptime and efficiency.Responsibilities:Execute Level 15 commissioning for mission-critical environments ensuring thorough testing verification and documentationCommission advanced liquid cooling systems including chillers CRAC/CRAH units water-cooled technologies and process piping systemsApply a deep understanding of cooling technologies water treatment and HVAC systems in data centers or similar high-stakes environmentsConduct equipment pre-start-up and start-up procedures develop SOPs and MOPs and complete comprehensive commissioning documentationPrepare and execute commissioning test procedures and functional tests for all major MEP systemsDevelop and maintain commissioning logs equipment checklists and issue tracking toolsWrite detailed commissioning reports including operational recommendations functional testing checklists and deficiency listsReview project documents including design drawings submittals and specifications providing feedback to ensure design intent is metInterface with clients vendors contractors and project stakeholders acting as the commissioning lead on-siteAssist with field troubleshooting confirm results of test reports and work with QA/QC teams to meet project goalsSupport integrated system testing and load bank testingAttend and contribute to commissioning meetings construction coordination sessions and interface with all facets of the companyQualifications:813 years of experience in mechanical/HVAC commissioning with a strong emphasis on liquid cooling systems and process pipingProven commissioning experience in mission-critical industries such as data centers pharmaceuticals semiconductors or other industrial environmentsBachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering preferredPE or EIT license a strong plusLEED Accreditation is a plusExperience with ASHRAE standards especially ASHRAE T.C. 9.9 is highly desirableAdvanced understanding of water-cooled systems chilled water loops water treatment processes and thermal system dynamicsStrong technical writing and communication skillsmust be able to generate thorough professional documentationFamiliarity with Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel and ProjectWillingness to travel to project sites as neededPrevious experience in the military or veteran status a huge plus!
