Mechanical Designer - Solidworks at Monster jobs

We are currently looking for a contract Mechanical Designer with Solidworks 3D experience in a manufacturing environment to support our client, a leading manufacturer of steel products in Bay City, Texas. Our client is experiencing rapid growth and investing in large capital expansion and improvement projects. This is a long term, multi-year assignment supporting an on-going engineering and construction support services contract. In this role, you would work as part of a team of drafters, designers, and engineers responsible for the design of new industrial facilities and equipment. In this position, you will responsible for both the design and execution of various small and large capital projects. This includes "hands-on" design of various equipment, machines, and industrial facilities. Must be knowledgeable and proficient in AutoCAD and Solidworks to be successful in this role.
