Mechanical Engineer (5+ Years) at Coffman Engineers, Inc.

We are seeking an energetic and self-motivated Mechanical Engineer with 5 - 10 years of experience. The successful individual will have an interest in the design of HVAC piping and plumbing systems for hospitals commercial buildings and industrial addition the individual should be comfortable consulting to architectural practices and have a desire to work on a multi-discipline engineering team.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSApproximate Base Salary $95k-130k based on experiencePaid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rateCompetitive end of year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performanceHybrid Work Schedule (subject to change)401k with maximum of 5% Contribution Matching for 9% Employee ContributionQualifications : ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONSBS in Mechanical engineering or related fieldPE license in Mechanical Engineering (Prefferred)Minimum 5 years of experienceExperience with AutoCAD and RevitExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSFamiliarity with relevant codes: mechanical energy plumbingFamiliarity with both HVAC and Plumbing systemsExperience with energy modeling software (EnergyPro etc.)KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIESMust be a self-starter who is able to see the big picture and connect the vision of the company with his/her job be persistent and follow through in a consistent manner.Passionate about the client or pursuit and takes ownership of his/her work.Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities).Possess strong critical thinking organizational and analytical abilities (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities).Maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Word Excel and Adobe InDesign software preferred. Must understand database concepts.
