Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Summary: Our company is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with expertise in Modeling tools such as Solid Works or Creo. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in Surface Navy Programs and be able to document detailed technical data for building rugged computing enclosures.Responsibilities:Design and develop mechanical components and systems using 3D modeling software such as Solid Works or CreoAnalyze product specifications and requirements to determine feasibility of design and productionConduct engineering analyses and simulations to ensure product performance and reliabilityCollaborate with other engineers and designers to ensure that all design aspects are aligned with project goals and objectivesCreate technical documentation and drawings for manufacturing and assemblyParticipate in product testing and validation activitiesIdentify opportunities for process improvements and cost savingsCommunicate technical information and recommendations to management and stakeholdersRequirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldMinimum of 10 years of experience in Surface Navy ProgramsProficient in 3D modeling software such as Solid Works or CreoExperience with documenting detailed technical data for building rugged computing enclosuresStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentKnowledge of manufacturing processes and materialsUnderstanding of product testing and validation proceduresThis is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join a dynamic and innovative team.
