Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Mechanical Engineering team works as part of an in-house multi-disciplinary technical unit that supplies design, analysis and consulting services for both internal and external customers. In this role, the Mechanical Engineer will interact with peers, consultants, outside vendors and clients, as appropriate.ResponsibilitiesDesign mechanical systems, structures and componentsAssist with modifications to existing equipment, systems, structures and componentsProvide technical supportAssist with mechanical plans and technical quotes for systems, structures and componentsEnsure compliance with safety standards related to mechanical systems, structures and componentsAssist in responding to site-based requests for information, including analysis and recommendationsPrepare and present project documents including calculations, drawings, specifications and reportsRequirementsBachelor degree in mechanical engineering or closely related discipline from an accredited institutionNeed to have a Construction or Engineering Firm background.Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) Experience with hydraulics, hoists and/or pneumatic systems is desirableDemonstrated logical problem-solving skills, including conceptual and analytical skills
