We are seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to become an integral part of our engineering team. The selected candidates will work with an experienced engineering staff using state-of-the-art engineering tools & processes. This position will operate onsite at our customers world-class engineering and manufacturing facility located near Green Bay WI.This is a full-time position with a full benefit package listed below that includesopportunitiesfor professional growth direct hire by our customers and additional opportunities within our own organization.Mechanical Engineer - Mobile HydraulicsAs a Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for the design and development of hydraulic components and systems for mobile equipment. Responsibilities include 3D modeling of hydraulic hoses tubes and components performing quality and assembly checks and collaborating with manufacturing validation and suppliers to optimize designs.Job DescriptionDesign and model hydraulic components and systems using SolidWorks.Develop and maintain 2D drawings technical specifications and documentation to support product development.Conduct quality routing and assembly checks to ensure system integrity and manufacturability.Collaborate with manufacturing suppliers and validation teams to create efficient cost-effective designs that meet performance and durability requirements.Compile and provide engineering reports and design analysis data to support prototype development and product integration.Develop and interpret hydraulic schematics to ensure functional system design and integration.Requirements Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience in machine design and hydraulic systems.Strong mechanical aptitude demonstrated through hands-on work projects or hobbies.Excellent problem-solving analytical and troubleshooting skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks meet deadlines and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly.Preferred QualificationsProficiency in 3D modeling software (Creo SolidWorks) and engineering data management tools (EPDM Windchill or PDMLink).Experience in hydraulic system design and familiarity with hydraulic components such as cylinders and electrohydraulic valvesPrior industrial equipment design experiencePay Range: $80000-$110000 Commensurate with experienceCompetitive BenefitsHealth and Dental InsuranceHealth Savings AccountTelaDoc: Virtual Health CareVision InsuranceCompany Paid / Supplemental Life InsuranceCompany Paid Long-Term DisabilitySupplemental Short-Term DisabilityRetirement Savings Account (Traditional 401k & Roth 401k)Flexible Spending Plan Dependent CareBonus Plan (Exempt Employees Only)Paid Time Off (PTO)Paid HolidaysBereavement LeaveEmployee Assistance Programs (EAP)Education AssistanceAbout RFA EngineeringRFA Engineering has provided product development and engineering services to industry leading customers since 1943.
