Temp To PermMechanical Seal TechnicianLocation: South Houston / Pasadena AreaCompany: LK Jordan (hiring on behalf of our client)Job Summary:LK Jordan is seeking an experienced Mechanical Seal Technician with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the disassembly cleaning inspection and repair assessment of mechanical seals. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude proficiency with machining equipment and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and prints.Responsibilities:Disassemble clean and inspect mechanical seals to assess condition and repair needsDocument inspection findings with clear notes and photographsPrepare detailed repair reports and customer quotes/cost estimatesOperate and maintain shop machinery including lathe surface grinders and hot plateClean and maintain tools equipment and work area to ensure safety and efficiencyRead and interpret technical drawings schematics and blueprintsFollow all company safety policies and proceduresQualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience working with mechanical seals in a mechanical repair or pump shop environmentProficiency with machine tools and inspection equipmentFormal technical training or machining certification preferredStrong understanding of mechanical systems and seal componentsAbility to take detailed inspection notes and photographs for reportingSkilled in interpreting technical drawings schematics and printsSelf-motivated with strong attention to detailStrong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a teamLKJ is an EOERequired Experience:IC Key Skills Mechanic Experience,Hand Tools,Industrial Equipment,Industrial Maintenance,Machining,Mechanical Knowledge,Assembly Experience,Precision Measuring Instruments,Schematics,Maintenance,Programmable Logic Controllers,Troubleshooting Employment Type : Temp Experience: years Vacancy: 1
