Central Machinery Sales, located in Sunnyside, WA, is looking for a Service Technician to join their team! Service Technician installs, maintains, and repairs products or equipment while also engaging with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and strong communication skills.

Job Duties

Engaging with customers to understand their needs, recommend appropriate products or services, and explain product features

Selling products, delivering and installing equipment on-site and ensuring customers receive the purchased items

Diagnosing and resolving technical issues with products or equipment, performing repairs, and replacing parts as needed

Performing routine maintenance, preventative care and basic repairs on equipment or products

Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, service requests and inventory

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, explain technical information and build rapport

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work and meet deadlines

Ability to identify customer needs, recommend appropriate products and close sales

Qualifications

Proficiency in the technical aspects of the products or services, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting

Minimum 3 years experience

Good computer skills and ability to learn new programs quickly and retain information

Must have a strong attention to detail.

Ability to communicate easily with others in both oral and written form.

Job Type: Full-time

Hourly $30-$45 per hour
