We are Dover Precision Components #LifeAtDPCOverview: Performs moderately complex customer support activities on gas compression and/or rotating equipment inside customer plants and in the field under general supervisionRequirements: Performs moderately complex maintenance repair and other activities on multiple OEM compression/rotating equipment with minimal supervisionUsing detailed company guidelines and general supervision performs on-site preventative maintenance clearance checks (does not include bearing checks and web deflection) routine repair and applying torque sequence to fastenersAssists higher level technicians with on-site general installations and emergency repairsRefers more complex problems to higher level techniciansDemonstrates proficiency in order to perform quality efficient work with minimal call backsFollows & possesses working knowledge of established health safety and environmental proceduresRead write and speak English (work orders manuals drawings etc.)Uses basic computer skills including Internet Explorer and OutlookCompletes and submits company required documentation in an accurate and timely fashionKnowledge: Good knowledge of gas compression/drivers /rotating equipment operational systemsKnowledge of or training in relevant HSE procedures and regulationsGeneral mechanical knowledge & aptitudeMinimum Education and Certification: High school diploma or equivalent preferredValid drivers license and a good driving recordGas or diesel engine and compressor basics training certification (Ariel DR GE Cameron Cook Compression Basics 101 etc.) requiredMinimum Experience:2 to 4 years of demonstrated gas compression/rotating equipment & mechanical experienceWe consider several job-related non-discriminatory factors when determining the pay rate for a position including but not limited to the positions responsibilities a candidates work experience a candidates education/training the positions location and the key skills needed for the position.
