Mechanical/Hydraulic SupervisorJob No: JR108155 Hollywood Private Hospital Permanent Property Building Maintenance/Groundsperson/SecurityThe Opportunity Hollywood Private Hospital has an opportunity for an experienced Mechanical or Plumbing tradesperson to take on the dynamic role of Mechanical / Hydraulics Supervisor.This opportunity will see you undertake and manage all mechanical and plumbing maintenance activities at the Hospital to ensure all the plant and equipment on site are maintained to an acceptable safe and operational standard. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager this role will coordinate external contracts and provide expert leadership and support to the Maintenance / Engineering team.Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Plan direct manage and undertake require maintenance duties and tasks for the Hospital ensuring all forms and records are up to dateOversee the work of maintenance contractors and employees to ensure tasks are completed correctly and within designated timeframesEnsure timely attendance to maintenance work orders and requests ensuring that allassigned tasks are completed and meet defined service levels and prioritiesPlan and implement improvement programs for plant / equipment as required maintaining cost efficiency and budget deadlines are met.Adhere to all health & safety and corporate policy guidelines and proceduresParticipate in after hours on call service performing after hours maintenance and emergency tasks as requiredAbout YouTo be successful in this role you will demonstrate:Qualifications as a Mechanical or Plumbing trades personDemonstrated experience in overseeing planning maintenance programs and reactive maintenance tasksDemonstrated experience in a multidisciplinary setupExperience in and ongoing commitment to Quality Improvement principles and understanding of WHS requirementsProven experience in external contractor managementGood mechanical/hydraulic aptitudeDesirable skills and experience:Previous experience in leadership and/or hospital maintenance roleKnowledge and understanding of accreditation/certification processQualifications in Fire Safety TrainingQualified and experienced in issuing high risk work permitsRamsay Benefits!Professional Advancement:Recognition professional development and Employee referral programs.
