Mechanic / Industrial Maintenance TechnicianWould you like to work for a forward-thinking technology companyDo you enjoy technical challengesJoin our growing teamJoin our Maintenance TeamPartner with the bestAs a Mechanic / Industrial Maintenance Technician you will provide maintain and repair equipment for Artificial Lift Services (ALS) at our facility in Claremore OK.As Mechanic / Industrial Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for:Ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines motors pneumatic tools conveyor systems and production machines; following diagrams sketches operations manuals manufacturers instructions and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.Locating sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.Removing defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists cranes and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.Determining changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules calipers micrometers and other measuring instruments.Adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools levels plumb bobs and straightedges.Controlling downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.Fabricating repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.Maintaining equipment parts and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment parts and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.Conserving maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.Providing mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.Preparing mechanical maintenance reports by collecting analyzing and summarizing information and trends.Maintaining technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks.Maintaining continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions irregularities and continuing needs.Maintaining safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures rules and regulations.Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:High School Diploma or GED.2 years experience.Some electrical experience on 3 PH 480 and single PH 120vExperience in Preventative MaintenanceExperience with Pneumatic and Hydraulic equipmentWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone this role we can offer the following flexible working patterns:Shift is a 4 / 3 scheduleWorking with usOur people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
