Our founding principles Fairness and Common Sense make working here more than a job its the Digital family.Digital Consultants is seeking an experienced MECM System Administrator to support enterprise endpoint management and secure systems operations across NIPR and SIPR networks. This role is mission-critical to maintaining DoD systems readiness cybersecurity compliance and the stability of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) infrastructure.The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in MECM (formerly SCCM) Windows Server administration OS deployment patch management and DoD cybersecurity standards. This is a senior-level technical position supporting DISA/DoD environments at Fort Huachuca.Job Duties:Manage day-to-day configuration operation and performance of IT systems servers and applications.Manage and sustain operations for VMware environments utilizing ESXi vCenter server (vSphere Client) vSAN technology and Horizon View.Manage configure and maintain MECM including Management Points Distribution Points SQL Server 2022 and client endpoints.Create and maintain collections install packages and environment specific reporting within MECMInstall maintain and provide general support for system hardware software and networks.Analyze and resolve issues related to operating systems server hardware and applications software.Detect diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems on server desktop mobile and thin client systems.Conduct system vulnerability scanning and remediation ensuring compliance through STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guides) implementation and documentation.Assist end-users with system access functionality and technical issues.Provide full-time on-site technical support across multiple environments and security classifications.Install and configure new software releases system upgrades and patches using various means including WSUS WPP and MECMConduct system backups recovery procedures and ensure disaster recovery readiness.Maintain data files and monitor configuration to ensure accuracy and data integrity.Perform system capacity analysis forecasting and optimization to enhance resource utilization.Develop and implement IT policies procedures and standards to ensure compliance and system reliability.Define system requirements in collaboration with stakeholders ensuring scalability and compatibility with existing infrastructure.Document procedures system configurations and technicalRequirementsMinimum 5 years of progressive experience in systems administration or equivalent military/contractor experience.5 years of experience administering MECM/SCCM in an enterprise environment.Strong background in Microsoft Windows and Active Directory.Experience with OS deployment and patch management.Hands-on experience with VMware environments.Ability to create SQL queries and manage SQL Server-based MECM components.Experience working in DoD or secure government environments.Benefits: The company offers the following benefits to permanent full-time employees:Paid Time Off (PTO)Group health plansIncome protection and supplemental benefits401(k) plan with company matchingHealth Savings Account (HSA)Flexible Spending Account (FSA)Pet insurance optionsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Digital Consultants an inclusive and welcoming company is fully committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce without regard to race color religion sex (including pregnancy gender identity and sexual orientation) genetic information national origin age (40 or older) disability Veterans status or any other protected characteristic.We provide reasonable accommodations to individuals who need assistance during any part of the employment process.
