Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Purpose:This position is responsible for providing support to the quality assurance function including to inline, incoming and outgoing inspection, documentation, Corrective Action and Preventative Action (CAPA) follow-up and implementation. In addition, this position will be responsible for training documentation and working with employees to ensure production processes meet industry standards.  Essential Functions:•                    Monitor incoming and outgoing inspection for non-conformances•                    Document non-conformances and follow up and implement recommended corrective actions•                    Fulfill documentation and reporting requirements for the Quality Management System•                    Ensure production processes meet industry standards•                    Follow up on the implementation of quality improvement activities•                    Perform other administrative functions to support the QA department•                    Ability to work a flexible schedule on occasion including overtime and weekends if required Job Qualifications:·         High School diploma, some college preferred or equivalent education.·         1-3 years experience working in related field, work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.·         Bilingual English/Spanish, preferred.·         Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook required.·         Strong attention to detail and an ability to be well organized is required.·         Excellent communication skills and an ability to work with individuals over the phone and via electronic communication is a must.·         Ability to take initiative and solve problems a must. Working conditions:  Position will ocassionally be located in a controlled office environment with frequent requirements to conduct work in the warehouse or production areas.  Other requirements including standing, walking, sitting, talking, hearing, fingering, grasping, use of personal computer and related office equipment, and a minimum 40 work hours per week.
