ResponsibilitiesPeraton seeks a Media Operations Analyst to conduct Information Operations (IO) planning in support of Army Communication and Outreach Office (ACOO) to address mis/disinformation related to the Army missions and personnel. Location: Pentagon/Arlington VA.Tasks include:Identify assess analyze and advise on malign and adverse media that threatens the Army force and missionDevelop and maintain situational awareness of ongoing events relevant to Department of DefenseProvide continuous information sharing knowledge management communications and reporting support through collaborative processesAssist in the rapid correction of malign misinformation or disinformationAssist in the development of cyber technology-based solutionsMaintain communication with Army units agencies direct reporting units (DRUs) and subordinate elementsPrepare briefings to Government officialsQualificationsRequired:Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD. Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the individuals experience education knowledge skills and competencies as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
