ResponsibilitiesThe Medical Assistant 2 (MA2) performs medical or technical procedures within a Medical Assistants scope of practice and under direction of the physician(s) assists the medical staff and physician(s) in providing clinical and administrative support throughout the medical office and provides guidance/mentorship to the practices other Medical Assistants.QualificationsEducation and ExperienceHigh School Diploma High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate requiredCompletion of a course of study consistent with the requirements for Medical Assistants as specified by the Medical Board of California required1 year of experience in the medical field requiredPrevious experience in giving injections requiredLicenses and CertificationsBLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) requiredDisclaimers Pay ranges listed are an estimate and subject to change.
