Medical Assistant Almara Women's Health at Revo Health

The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing patient care to patients by assisting with diagnostic tests procedures and treatments ordered by the physician in a family practice environment.This is a full-time role Monday- Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM out of our Edina location.Almara Womens Health is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health) a group of local medical practices owned and led by its physicians on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.Essential Functions:Prepare stock and clean exam roomRoom patients and prepare for examMaintain an efficient organized clinical flowGather and verify pertinent patient information; compile patient medical dataAssist with documentation of patient data into chartPrep for injections change dressings assist with minor proceduresEnsure coding requirements are followed during entry of patient informationAct as a prescribing delegateMay also assist with any of the following:Assist Care Coordinator with patient care servicesAssist with medical supply inventory and orderingScreen patient calls and respond to patient in a timely manner.
