Medical Assistant Certified-Cicero Family Care at Riverview Health

The Certified Medical Assistant assists in preparation for patient care provides care coordination clinical documentation and other clinical support functions in a physician practice office setting.Job ResponsibilitiesPrepare patients for physician/provider examinationAdminister injections and immunizationsPerform laboratory testing EKGs and other medical office testing and proceduresArrange for diagnostic testing specialist appointments and hospital admission.Initiate and finalize managed care referralsPerform telephone triageMaintain examination roomsMeasure and record vital signsContribute to team building through the support of management decisions and participating in performance improvement activities.
