This role brings hospital-level care directly into patients homes supporting recovery in a familiar comfortable environment. Our service area for this region includes Boston and surrounding communities such as Framingham Natick Newton Dedham Quincy Sharon and nearby towns.As part of an interdisciplinary team you will support nurses nurse practitioners and physicians in delivering safe high-quality patient care across the region while contributing to a model of care that is reshaping how patients receive treatment at home.Schedule & Work Model36-hour full-time positionShift: 8:00am8:30pmSelf-scheduling typically completed six weeks in advanceEvery-third-weekend rotationTravel required throughout the South/West Region (mileage reimbursement provided)Why Join the Home Hospital TeamBe part of a leading innovative care model transforming the future of healthcareGain unique experience providing hospital-level care in the homeReceive comprehensive onboarding and ongoing clinical supportWork within a mission-driven interdisciplinary teamAccess opportunities for growth within Mass General BrighamJob SummaryIn this dynamic mobile position you will provide hands-on clinical support during in-home visits including:Performing lab draws and specimen collection (training provided as needed)Conducting point-of-care testing and documenting resultsAssisting nurses with patient admissions and initial assessmentsSetting up delivering and helping troubleshoot home medical equipmentObtaining and recording vital signs and patient informationSupporting complex wound care including positioning and supply preparationReinforcing patient education and helping explain care instructionsEnsuring timely accurate documentation in the electronic health recordCollaborating closely with RNs NPs physicians and other team membersThis role offers autonomy variety and a unique opportunity to deliver meaningful patient-centered care directly in the home.QualificationsRequired:Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant training programHigh school diploma or equivalentA valid MA drivers license and reliable transportation are required for home visits.
