The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to embracing quality and innovation in career and technical education workforce development and lifelong learning.Examples of Duties:Teach lecture and lab courses in Medical AssistantContinuous curriculum development including the design revisions and implementation of instructional materials and assessment of learner outcomesIntegration of assessment activities into teaching practices and participation in department and college-wide assessment of student learningSupport of the success and development of students through the use of a variety of instructional methods available office hours and by providing additional resourcesDevelopment and implementation of on-campus online and hybrid coursesContribution into department decisions on budget scheduling textbook selection etc.Participation in discipline team campus and college matters through service on committees; attendance at regular meetings; and continued professional developmentSupport and advance the department and college mission through ideas and projectsMinimum QualificationsEducation RequirementAssociate degreeOccupational Experience RequirementThree full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience as a medical assistant.Recency RequirementOne year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field.
