The RMA/CMA is utilized in performing typical front and back office clinical functions.Responsible to perform duties related to checking patients in and out scheduling patient appointments call confirmations verifying insurance while maintaining accuracy and compliance with departmental policies and State/Federal regulations. Required QualificationsVocational/Technical Medical Assistant(degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)Previous front and back-office experience in a health clinic setting or equivalent experience required. Certifications Registrations and/or Licenses:Currently Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical AssistantCurrent CPR certificationValid Oklahoma Driver LicenseSkills Proficiencies and/or Knowledge:Knowledge of all areas related to clinic workflow. Excellent customer service skills and good communication skills. Ability to multi-task while providing good patient care. Good computer skills and ability to learn new computer systems as needed. Primary skills include verbal and written communication with patients to promote continuity of care and follow-up as well as daily retrieval and scanning/filing of clinical encounter forms and reports for use by clinic staff during patient care activities. Strong Computer Skills (MS Office Suite specifically with Outlook Word Excel) typing and data entry medical terminology answer phone detail-oriented quality focus ability to prioritize and work within deadlines excellent customer service skills professionalism and interpersonal communication ability to effectively communicate with patients and all medical staff ability to work in a team environment knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and ability to learn new processes as requiredPreferred QualificationsPrevious reception scheduling and medical records experience preferable.Experience with EPIC highly desirable.Required Experience:Unclear Seniority Key Skills Graphic,Camp,Arabic Faculty,BI,Brokerage Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Hourly Salary Salary: 17 - 19
