In addition, a comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and 401(k) plan! The District Sales Manager (DSM) is responsible for managing the Regional Sales Managers in a specified area to achieve sales objectives and overall corporate goals.  The DSM will play an integral role in the success of the Sales Team.ResponsibilitiesAssist Senior Management with the development of marketing and sales plans for Healthcare ServicesAssist Senior Management with annual sales expense budgets and revenue projectionsMeet and exceed set area sales quotas while adhering to sales processesContinuously learn about new services and improve selling skillsStay well-informed about current industry trends and able to speak intelligently about the drug-testing industryAttend and participate in sales meetings, professional seminars and trade showsPrepare written presentations, reports and proposalsDefine and execute area sales plansDevelop positive relationships with other Team MembersMake and deliver professional presentationsEffectively communicate with ManagementTravel up to 60% of the timeProvide supervision to others through motivation, direction, review and feedback of assigned tasksSupervise work through the planning and scheduling of work, and the review and approval of tasksSupervise team members in their work assignments and performance developmentSupervise/manage/direct in the selection, training, development, and appraisal of teamParticipate in process improvements, including process definition, measurement analysis, and implementation of controlsParticipate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill  Follow all safety guidelines and report any safety concerns to supervisorOther duties as required and assignedEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEBachelor’s Degree requiredA minimum of five (5) years of sales experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical device, or related industry required Ability to work independentlyProven success prospecting; building a pipeline; moving opportunities through the sales cycle; proposing, presenting and discussing solutions with physicians, office managers and other prospectsValid driver’s license required (must meet insurability requirements)Must be able to travel up to 60% of the time
