Medical Director at MarottaMD: Plastic Surgery, MedSpa, Hair Restoration

Novus Longevity / Marotta Medspa is seeking a Full-Time Medical Director to lead clinical operations at our new flagship medical aesthetics and longevity center located in the Americana Manhasset professional offices. This role is ideal for a physician who values clinical excellence, regulatory integrity, and collaborative leadership within a premium, physician-led practice. The Medical Director will provide oversight, patient care, and protocol governance while working closely with experienced ownership and management. This is not a concierge or lifestyle-only role. It is a leadership position within a disciplined, growth-oriented healthcare business.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Medical Oversight

• Serve as on-site Medical Director for all medical services
• Perform patient consultations and procedures within scope
• Supervise and collaborate with PA/NPs, aestheticians, and clinical staff
• Establish, maintain, and enforce clinical protocols
• Ensure compliance with New York State medical regulations
• Oversee delegation, chart review, and quality assurance

Patient Care

• Provide high-quality medical aesthetic and wellness care
• Participate in longevity, hormone, IV therapy, PRP, and related services
• Maintain conservative, evidence-informed clinical decision-making
• Uphold premium patient experience standards

Leadership & Operations

• Partner with Practice Manager and ownership on clinical workflows
• Support staff training and clinical development
• Participate in quarterly performance reviews and quality audits
• Contribute to continuous improvement of care delivery

Compensation Structure

• Competitive starting base salary

Productivity Bonus (Quarterly – Gross Profit Based)

• Minimum bonus threshold: $100,000 gross profit per quarter
• $100K–$200K per quarter:

8% of gross profit on amounts above $100K

• $200K–$400K per quarter:

12% of gross profit on amounts above $200K

• >$400K per quarter:

17% of gross profit on amounts above $400K

Bonus structure rewards quality, efficiency, and sustainable growth

No incentive for unnecessary procedures or overutilization

Qualifications

Required

• MD or DO (Board Certified or Board Eligible)
• Active New York medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Experience in:
• Medical aesthetics, wellness, or procedural medicine
• Clinical supervision and delegation
• Strong understanding of medical compliance and documentation
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred

• Experience in:
• Medical aesthetics (injectables, devices)
• Longevity or wellness medicine
• IV therapy, hormone management, PRP
• Prior Medical Director or leadership experience
• Comfort working in a growth-oriented practice
