About the PositionThe Medical Equipment Installer is responsible for installing and maintaining accessibility equipment such as stairlifts, ramps, and wheelchairs. The Medical Equipment Installer will perform household access modifications such as door widenings and roll in showers.Experience required in either residential construction or equipment installation in some or all of the following:ElectronicsFramingDrywallConcreteDeck InstallationStairliftsWheelchair LiftsWheelchair RampsCeiling LiftsWhat We’re Looking ForKind and friendly attitude. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Organized with high attention to detail.Professional and courteous demeanorStrong customer service skillsBasic mechanical skills.Qualifications for SuccessValid state issued driver’s license in the state where the employee works, required.High school diploma required, trade school preferred.Experience required in either residential construction or equipment installation1 year of delivery/customer service or related experience, preferred.Must have Clean Driving Record and pass Background CheckPhysical RequirementsMust be able to lift up to 75 pounds frequently.
