Overview:
We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Durable Home Medical Equipment (DME/HME) Technician to join our team in Houtzdale, PA. This role is responsible for delivering and setting up medical equipment, educating patients on proper use, and maintaining inventory.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- One (1) year of home medical equipment experience is preferred
- Mechanical and carpentry skills are preferred
- Effective interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
Requirements:
- Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time
- Operate vehicle and office equipment
- Occasionally lift/ move up to 80 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
- Clearly communicate (listen and speak) to patients
