And we believe equipping you with support and development opportunities is a vital part of delivering an exceptional employment experience.Find a fulfilling career and make a difference with UnityPoint Health.ResponsibilitiesCollects/Obtains labels and delivers specimens in accordance with standards and policies of available information systemsPrioritizes performs judges and reports routine and esoteric procedures within established time guidelines.QualificationsBachelors Degree in Science must be obtained which is sufficient to allow certification under one of the Medical Technologist (MT)/Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) Certifying Agencies examination meet Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) requirements to perform highly complex testing. Additionally any regulatory agency personnel standards which are applicable to the position must be met.Associates Degree in Medical Lab Science is required for the MLT positions.Certifying Agencies include but are not limited to the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Board of Certification (BOC) American Medical Technologist (AMT) Certification and American Association of Bioanalysts (AAB) Board of Registry (ABOR).
