If you want to discover a career with greater purpose join us as we transform and accelerate research and development.Support laboratory operations by assisting with routine procedures specimen handling and maintaining a clean and organized lab environment.What Youll Be Doing:Provide administrative and technical support to laboratory staffWash dry and store laboratory glassware such as test tubes beakers and flasksMaintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas including disinfecting surfaces and equipmentPrepare and sterilize laboratory supplies and materialsLabel tubes and prepare them for analysisFacilitate post-analysis specimen storage and sample bankingAssist with equipment maintenance and lab area organizationSupport inventory management and general lab workstation cleanupWhat We Are Looking For:High School Diploma or equivalent (Some CAP/CLIA lab locations may require an Associate Degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution)06 months of relevant work experience preferredBasic knowledge of laboratory practices safety procedures and infection controlOther Equivalent combination of education training and experience may be accepted in lieu of degreeThe Knowledge Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequent standing and walking occasional sitting close eye work requirement (computer typing reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
